Definition and modification of pinned connections.

You must take care to avoid unstable conditions due to the specified hinges. The program cannot check unstable conditions within the input process. Most users do not usually recognize the wrong input until negative diagonal terms (negative pivots) arise when the equation system is solved.

Global Hinges

Disconnected DOF's between element and nodes (related to the global directions and - in case of eccentric connections - arranged at the nodal point)

Local Hinges

Disconnected DOF's between element and nodes (related to the local directions and - in case of eccentric connections - arranged at the elastic element end)

X-B, Y-B Z-B	Disconnected displacement DOF's at the element begin
Wx-B, Wy-B, Wz-B	Disconnected rotation DOF's at the element begin
X-E, Y-E Z-E	Disconnected displacement DOF's at the element end
Wx-E, Wy-E, Wz-E	Disconnected rotation DOF's at the element end
